Job Flexibility
Flexible job scheduling can be a central ingredient in a work-life balance strategy, but it is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Not all jobs can be flexed, and flex is not the answer to everyone’s quest for sustainability. This session examines the four ways jobs can be flexed and some approaches for determining whether this is likely to be a good option for you. MIT’s specific guidelines and practices in this arena are discussed, as well as how to approach your manager.
